The Trans-Canada Highway is a transcontinental federal-provincial highway system that travels through all ten provinces of Canada from the Pacific Ocean on the west to the Atlantic on the east. The main route spans 7,821 km across the country, one of the longest routes of its type in the world.
5. Golden Quadrilateral Highway Network, India
The Golden Quadrilateral (GQ) is a national highway network connecting most of the major industrial, agricultural and cultural centres of India. It forms a quadrilateral connecting the four major metro cities of India, viz., Delhi (north), Kolkata (east), Mumbai (west) and Chennai (south). Total distance is 5846 Km. The foundation stone for this undertake was laid by the then Prime Minister of India, Atal Behari Vajpayee in 1999, with the entire stretch being completed in the year 2012.
6. China National Highway G010
China's National Highway G010 is an abolished national highway in China, which runs from Tongjiang in Heilongjiang to Sanya in Hainan. It is 5,700 km in length, the longest China National Highway to date.
7. US Route 20
U.S. Highway 20 (US 20) is a part of the United States Numbered Highway System that runs for 5,415 km from Newport, Oregon to Boston, Massachusetts.
